TV Personality "Celines" joins Trackstar!

Celines Toribio, or simply "Celines" as she is known to her fans, is a well known Spanish speaking television personality residing in Los Angeles.

Celines (born in Santo Domingo,Dominican Republic) began her television career in 1995 as host of the popular program Sabado Al Mediodia (Saturday at Midday), alongside Puerto Rican entertainer Jimmy Nieves. Sabado Al Mediodia, variety and entertainment show that was the number 1 rated local Spanish TV program on Univision's New York affiliate, WXTV-41, for more than six years. Celines was also a featured entertainment reporter on WXTV's local newscast as the host of Galeria (Gallery), a daily live gossip and entertainment segment, and Mi Gente (My People), a weekly segment that profiled and interviewed famous Latino personalities. During Celines' tenure at WXTV, she was wildly popular with viewers and made appearances at local Latino events such as the Puerto Rican Day Parade(Timeline of New York City events) and Dominican Day Parade

In 1997, Celines received national exposure on Univision, the nation's dominant Spanish-language television network, as the on-air host for the network's coverage of Miami's Calle Ocho street festival (Little Havana). Later, Celines became a reporter for Univision's weekly primetime Fuera De Serie (Something Outrageous), and an entertainment reporter for El Gordo y La Flaca (Fatso and Skinny), the network's daily entertainment news and gossip show. She hosted her own morning radio drive show for 3 years with 5 million daily listeners called Coco and Celines.
 
Celines has interviewed almost every major Latino and American celebrity/personality — Ricky Martin, Luis Miguel, Celia Cruz — has been a regular television fixture in millions of homes. She was the host of ESPN's Sabor a Beisbol for 5 years produced by Major League Baseball. Celines has an academy in New York City. There she teaches modeling, acting, dances and much more.
 
She was recently engaged to be married to Giancarlo Chersich in Cannes, France. Celines was named on of People En Espanol's 50 Most Beautiful in June 2008. She currently was chosen by Tommy Hilfiger to model in his Race to Erase Fashion Show in Beverly Hills, CA. Celines has a slew of endorsement deals with Toyota, Banco Popular, Money Gram...
 
Celines will soon be seen opposite Michelle Rodriguez in the spanish-language historical film Trópico de Sangre which is set to begin filming in the Dominican Republic in November 2008.
