Jay said "I love cars and bikes, they are a part of everyones lifestyle. I hope to get on track soon and show just how passionate I am about it all. I think it is great manufacturers are moving to more environmentally friendly vehicles without compromising comfort or performance and it seems the various motorsport championships are also looking to the future".
Credited as the "The Worldwide No#.1 icon for Asian youth culture" this British singer/songwriter has become of one the most respected up and coming R'n'B artists around the globe.
Background:
His debut album (Me Against Myself) came out in 2004 - acquired 3 top 10 singles and was a pioneering LP of its kind blending traditional eastern instruments with soulful vocals. The album topped the charts and went 5 times platinum in India, Gold in Dubai whilst cracking the top 30 on his home turf in the UK. Bollywood were soon courting his music and shooting 4 day video shoots with Jay starring as himself (a London singer/songwriter) in Kya Kool Hai Hum also alongside the ultra hot Bipasha Basu. The movie went on to become one of the biggest hits of 2005 with the original soundtrack grossing close to 5 million sales in India alone, with Jay's track receiving top billing.
Still only 24, the last couple of years have seen Jay perform to packed out venues in over 100 major cities across the U.S., Asia, Africa, Australia and Europe, arguably becoming the UK’s freshest contemporary R&B export. Not since Craig David's seminal 'Born To Do It' album has a UK soul artist been touted as having enough talent to take on the Americans at their own game.
"An Urban Legend In The Making" - The Independent"

Jay’s first single release from the new album, ‘Ride It’, entered the charts at #11 in January and remained in the Top 20 for 6 weeks selling more than 70,000 units whilst the video on You Tube has been viewed by more than 3.5 million viewers this year..
