London – Football star Anton Ferdinand has become the latest member of Trackstar-Racing adding to the many top names involved in the most exclusive motorsport club in the world. Anton,22, plays in the United Kingdom for Premiership side 'West Ham United' and is the the younger brother of England and Manchester United's Rio Ferdinand.

Like his brother, Anton has played for England's U21 squad and predictions for an England defence composed of both Ferdinand brothers has been made.

In 2006, he was offered a place on standby for England's senior World Cup squad but refused after he was diagnozed carrying an injury from the epic cup final the week before the competition but competed for his country as the England squad went to the Netherlands for the 2007 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship.

Anton commented: "I just want to get to the track and watch some racing. It would be good to go to Monaco and watch the F1 out there. I'm also interested in going to A1GP when they race at Brands Hatch. Not really watched any motorcycle racing because I've never ridden a bike, but I've heard it's real fast and there's a lot of action on track!"
